RECIO YOUNG
Recio Young is a Chicago Native who attended Northern Michigan University, Graduating with a B.A. in Political Science with a Pre-Law Emphasis. Captivated by the entertainment industry and the power to move the masses through media, Recio moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and spent the last decade working his way up the industry ladder.
His career has included working as a Senior Story Producer, Senior Contestant Producer, and a Senior Casting Manager. He has also worked in all forms of production in TV/FILM and Documentary series. He has worked on The Oscars, The Emmys, The SAG awards, and multiple other awards shows, including their Red Carpet arrivals. “Mr. Hollywood” is the nick name his friends love to affectionally call him. He’s worked on such notable shows as ‘Password with Jimmy Fallon’, ‘Big Brother’, 'Unsolved Mysteries', ‘Disney Magic Bake Off’, 'Nailed It', 'Supermarket Sweeps', 'Beauty & The Geek Australia', 'Full Bloom', ‘Dancing with the Stars’, ‘American Ninja Warriors’, ‘The Voice Australia’, ‘Hell’s Kitchen’, ‘Cold Justice’, The Travel Channel, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube and multiple network shows.
Recio is also an actor that has been in movies, films, and TV shows such as 'Dream Girls', 'The Last Day of Summer', 'Rappas', 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Tosh.O' and many others.
Passionate about the possibilities of television, film, and documentaries, Recio has moved into the role of Executive Producer, Director, and Writer. He is currently in the development of multiple TV / FILM and Documentaries that are set to air in spring of 2024.
He has a wealth of knowledge, attention to detail, great negotiating skills he learned in his corporate law days and is a true powerhouse in Hollywood and politics. Recio goes above and beyond with each client he works with. He has never met a colleague that has not become his close friend after the project was completed. He leadership skills are second to none, he works with every single department from the network executives, all the way to the production team and vendors. Recio is truly an amazing individual and very fun to work with!
